Renting a car in North Cyprus — your questions
Do I need a deposit?
No deposit and no credit-card block. You pay for your rental — by card or cash — and nothing else is held on your card.
What is included in the price?
Every price includes third-party insurance, unlimited mileage, free Ercan Airport delivery, a second driver and 24/7 WhatsApp support. Collision Damage Waiver is the one optional extra, at £3 per day. No hidden fees at handover.
Can I pick up at Ercan Airport?
Yes — Ercan Airport (ECN) delivery and collection are free, 24/7. We meet you at arrivals with the keys: no counter queue, no shuttle. Delivery anywhere in Kyrenia is free too.
Which driving licence do I need?
A valid full national or international licence, with no minimum number of years held. Drivers must be at least 25 on the day the rental starts. North Cyprus drives on the left, like the UK.
Can I drive to South Cyprus?
No — our insurance is valid in North Cyprus only, so crossing the border is not permitted and would void your cover. If you land at Larnaca or Paphos, we arrange a transfer to North Cyprus where your car will be waiting.
